My name is Dan Perrin, and I’m a copywriter based in Exeter.
For over 16 years my career has been in the newspaper industry – as a writer and sub-editor – working across regional and national titles including The Exmouth Journal, Express & Echo, The Western Mail, South Wales Echo and, most recently, The Royal Gazette in Bermuda.
Upon returning from overseas I decided on a career change, and as I’ve always enjoyed working with words, I thought copywriting/book editing would be the next logical step.
Since completing an accredited course in copywriting, I have edited and helped publish a novel, taken on social media work for my local Greenpeace group, and a dog charity based in Yorkshire – plus I’ve written blogs, web copy and brochures for a number of different industries, including health & wellbeing, homeschooling, business merchandising, telephone answering services, and accountancy. I also write film reviews for Frame Rated website.
